Mr. S. Ashokan
Chairman
He took over from his father in 1980 and initially the core business of wholesale trading of consumer edibles, the business area in which he is heavily involved. In 1987, he founded Tanyo Medical and was directly involved in the entire operations of Tanyo Medical until 2020. Since the inception of Tanyo Medical, Mr. Ashokan has brought in many new projects and business partners to build the company into one of the leading healthcare companies in Sri Lanka.
Mr. A. Ahilesh
Director
He completed his Bachelor of Commerce and Master of Management degrees at Macquarie University in Australia. Later on he went to on to work as an intern at Bayer Pharmaceuticals and moved up to an executive level in at Bayer pharmaceuticals. He later joined the family business in 2014 and has been leading the Tanyo Medical division ever since. At the same time, in 2016 he started up Aesdan Pty Ltd in Australia as a company purely engaged in manufacturing and exporting nutraceuticals.

Mr. Tharanga Welihinda Operations Manager
He joined Tanyo Medical (Pvt) Ltd in 2024 and heading the entire operations of sales/marketing& distribution management introducing an efficient strategic plan with clear goals and a structured approach to develop the company Business. He has over 35years industry experience working for several international and multi – national Pharmaceutical & Medical companies handling operations in senior management level.
Mr. Tharanga Welihinda was previously working for Guardian Healthcare (Pvt) Ltd as CEO , Browns & Company Plc as a Senior Manager Operations & Business Development and Oska Pharmaceuticals (Pvt) Ltd, Local agent for B BRAUN, Germany as General Manager
Mr. Sivakumar Ramabhadra
Group Finance Controller
He joined Tanyo Medical 2023 to head the forefront of the finance department and streamline all systems within the finance framework of the business. He has over 40 years of experience in the finance field and has worked in many different industries. He holds a BSc degree and a member of chartered institute of management accountant.
Mr. Dilhara Gamage
Business Development Manager
He joined Tanyo medical (Pvt) Ltd in 2024 and functioning as BDM covering major institutions meeting KOL’s while monitoring and managing the marketing & sales operations at the field level. He has over 16 years’ experience working for leading Pharmaceutical & surgical companies in Sri Lanka.
Mr. Dilhara was previously working for CIC and was functioning as a senior Medical executive, ABC Pharmaceuticals (Pvt) Ltd as Territory Manager and Ceyoka (Pvt) Ltd as Medical Marketing executive and he holds a MBA.
Karthiyayini Ratharan
Accountant
Since joining the company in 2006, She has brought over 20 years of comprehensive experience in the accounting and finance sector. She is a Certified Business Account (CBA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka. In her position as accountant, She handles all financial operational activities of the accounts department.

Senuri Jayathilake
Regulatory Executive
Ms. Senuri Jayathilake joined Tanyo Medical (Pvt) Ltd in 2024 and functioning as the Regulatory Executive. She holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree from General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University. She is responsible for handling product registrations, preparing regulatory documentation, and ensuring compliance with all relevant health authority guidelines to support the company’s medical product approvals and market access.
